Virtual Independence day celebrations 2020

Greetings from Mahatma Gandhi Schools..

Amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the guidelines associated with it, Mahatma Gandhi Schools celebrated the 74th Independence Day online.

The response for virtual celebrations was overwhelming.

We did not allow students to participate in the Independence Day celebrations physically but students were allowed to participate in various activities like English Speech, Tamil Speech and Poster Making and they were shared online.

Addressing the virtual gathering and also participating in the question & answer session with students and teachers the Chief Guest Air Marshal Varthaman said: ““This is a strange and difficult time in which we have to celebrate Independence Day from our homes. He also added, in order to progress forward, we should self-evaluate our achievements as well as our failures. We should be proud of what we could do so far, but we should also have aspirations for what more we can do and prepare ourselves for it… This crisis has put forth new opportunities, possibilities in front of us; and we should take advantage of those opportunities to minimize our weaknesses and come out stronger than others.”

For those who have missed out and to have a glimpse of the celebration to cherish the memories the entire program is uploaded in “You Tube” and the link is shared through never skip to the parents
