Grandparents are truly a blessing in our lives. They are the ones who have made our parents the way they are. It is because of their upbringing that our parents love us immensely and care for us the same way our grandparents did when they were children. Moreover, grandparents are your support system. Grandparents are the family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, child’s best Friend, wonderful story tellers and finally Connectors from generation to generation with traditional values. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. They are a positive influencer and role model to the entire family especially a cheer leader for the younger generation. On the occasion World grandparent’s day – 13th Sep 2020, we at MGMS celebrated at our school through virtual platform with standard I&II on 11th Sep 2020. Children were dressed up as Thatha (Grandfather) Paati (Grandmother) and performed with their own dialogues. During the session teachers taught the value system of family, how to respect our elders especially grandparents, spreading love and care with aged people, spending time with them, listening their need and essentials, fulfillment of their need as much as possible. We assure, surely it could be a sensational programme for everyone.
